Here at teaching personnel we are recruiting for a number of Primary schools across the London borough of Lambeth for temporary and daily supply work as a Teaching Assistant.Our schools provide quality education for children within the school's local area, providing the foundations for pupil's development in Early Years, KS1 and KS2. TAs are vital to the overall learning and development of pupils at these schools, tailoring their approach to optimise learning opportunities.

About the Role - Primary TA

As a Primary Teaching Assistant you will be supporting pupils in Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 and 2, cultivating a love of learning and aiding academic growth from as early as possible in the children's educational development. These roles are on a daily supply and short term basis, with further opportunities to lead onto a longer term position, competitive salaries each day, starting from GBP60, reflecting your own work experience and workload.

Person Specification - Primary TA

The successful teaching assistant (TA) will:

- Hold strong literacy and numeracy skills;

- Be a specialist in English, Mathematics or a Science subject;

- Be enthusiastic, dedicated and engaging;

- Be able to provide effective support to all children under direction of the subject teachers, including those with special educational needs;

- Be approachable to all pupils and act as a behavioural role model.

We require references and an up to date DBS with update service. If you do not have one you will need to apply for a brand new DBS certificate.
