Part-time Teaching Assistant required

Are you available part-time?

If so, Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant with some experience with children or young adults. The ideal candidate must be able to engage well with pupils, manage challenging behaviour in and outside the classroom and have a passion for education and helping others. The candidate will become a valued member of staff, which would be the perfect opportunity to build relationships and knowledge within a 'Good' Secondary School.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Deliver tailored teaching activities on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Manage behaviour in the classroom and keep pupils engaged.
  • support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required

The school we are working with is smaller than average in the Chorley area, with a train station very close by, perfect for candidates who don't drive. The behaviour in school is Ofsted graded 'Outstanding', however with the GCSE exams coming up; the school are seeking additional help across various subjects.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
