An oversubscribed secondary school in the South Preston is looking to appoint a Teacher of Science, who specialises in Chemistry to join their school. The school has approximately over 900 pupils on roll, and is commended for excellent behaviour of their pupils. The progressions of pupils in the English and Science departments are ‘outstanding’ from the most recent Ofsted report.

The Science Department is made up of 9 strong Teachers, including Head of Department, who follow the Edexcel Exam Syllabus. It is desired that you have experience with Edexcel, but this isn’t essential. The school also have a Sixth Form, therefore if you can teach Chemistry up to A-Level then that would be an advantage.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This will be a temporary position and may go permanent at a later date.
