Nursery 1:1 SEN support required in Brent area

Daily rate: £60-£75 depending on experience

Ofsted rated "Good" school

A well above average-sized primary school in the Brent area are currently looking for a 1:1 Nursery SEN teaching assistant to support a child who has Downs Syndrome.The role will be 5 afternoons as the child has not fully settled in to the school as of yet! The school is now a part of a multi-academy Trust; they are able to provide extensive training and career progression as well as a huge support network. They are looking for somebody who will fit in to the day to day running of their multi-cultural school.

What the school is looking for:

  • A confident teaching assistant
  • Experienced working with SEN children
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Ability to understand and follow correct safeguarding policies
  • Encouragement of children to learn about different cultures and backgrounds

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
