Maths teacher required for outstanding school

  • Temporary position from September 2017
  • Initially to cover absence on a supply basis
  • Earn up to ÂŁ160 per day (experience dependant)

Temporary supply position for a Maths teacher from September in a large Manchester secondary school.

Due to an unplanned absence occurring over the summer holidays, our partner school in Manchester have a temporary need for a Maths teacher starting in September. This is a full time supply position, requiring a Maths teacher with commitment to high standards of teaching and taking part in full departmental responsibilities. The successful Maths teacher applying for this position will need to be available for a start date on the 11th September; the role will consist of teaching Maths across the 11-16 age range for mixed abilities in KS3 and GCSE.

- Maths teacher position on a long term supply basis

- Full time within a supportive Maths department

- Initially to cover a period of absence for the first half term

- Well regarded secondary school with most recent outstanding Ofsted

- Supply position to cover absence, 5 days per week

- Pay rate to match your experience (up to ÂŁ160 per day)

Situated in a multi cultural area of Manchester which borders Stockport and is just 10 minutes from the M60, this is a larger than average secondary school with a great reputation. As a Maths teacher working on supply, you will be expected to deliver Maths lessons to a high standard for pupils across the age range. Full support daily will be given by the Head of Maths and fellow Maths teachers, this is initially to cover an absence but could be a great introduction in to an outstanding school operating in a trust of Manchester schools.
