Maths and English teachers required to deliver online tuition (after school) to pupils attending a Wigan secondary school. as part of the National Tutoring Programme from January 2021.
*** Due to this tuition being delivered online, we welcome applications from Maths and English teachers/tutors located across Greater Manchester. Applicants are required to hold a minimum of 6 months experience delivering tuition to GCSE pupils. ***
This outstanding secondary school wish to implement additional intervention sessions to GCSE pupils (Y10 and 11). As an approved National Tutoring Programme provider, Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting English and Maths teachers to deliver blocks of 15-hour tuition online to pupils (after school). Tuition programmes are likely to run up to the GCSE examination period in May 2021.
This is the ideal opportunity for any qualified teachers or experience tutors who are interested in delivering small group sessions online from their home (1:1, 1:2 and 1:3).
- Targeted tuition to pupils aged 14-16 within Maths and English
- Sessions taking place outside of school hours – times TBC
- Working in partnership with this outstanding secondary school to deliver 1:1, 1:2 and 1:3 tuition
- Full CPD and training provided ahead of beginning tuition programmes including safeguarding and online learning
- Pay between GBP25 - GBP35 per hour
You will liaise with the school on a regular basis and receive full guidance from heads of department to deliver resources to pupils who have been identified to need further support within their studies. You will also be responsible for tracking pupils progress throughout their tuition. This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to have a real impact on pupils development and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
