Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an engaging outdoor learning environment? Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Crediton is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Outdoor SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team.

Job Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
Pay: £90 - £100 per day (DOE)

About the School:
Teaching Personnel’s partner school in Crediton offers an alternative, nature-based education for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Through hands-on outdoor learning, students build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in a supportive, therapeutic environment. The school focuses on emotional well-being, practical learning, and independence to prepare students for future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 support to students with SEN during outdoor learning activities
• Assist in planning and adapting sessions to meet individual needs
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Monitor and record student progress, communicating with relevant staff
• Ensure safety and well-being during all outdoor sessions

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience supporting children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
• Understanding of different learning needs and the ability to adapt support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A passion for outdoor education and inclusion
• Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
