Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary school in the South Manchester area. The Primary school is situated in Wythenshawe, M23. The role that the school are currently recruiting for is a KS2 Teaching Assistant role in a year 4 class on a full time basis to start after the Christmas break when the school goes back in January.
The South Manchester, Wythenshawe Primary school is a 2 form entry "good" graded Ofsted school. The Senior Leadership Team (SLT) at the school has worked tirelessly to bring the school where it is. This is shown in their most recent Ofsted report where it reads "The head teacher, senior leaders and governors have worked very well together to ensure that teaching and learning in this rapidly expanding school has improved since the previous inspection". This shows the school is heading in the right direction and is looking to improve in all aspects of the already well ran Primary school.
The role will involve working with small groups of pupils of around 4-6. The groups will vary from lower ability - higher ability pupils and will involve supporting the pupils in Maths, Reading and Writing. The school are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with previous experience within KS2 that can display a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum. The school are looking to take the successful candidate on a 1 year school based contract with the option to extend this further based on the success in the role.
