Exciting opportunity for a primary teacher looking for a role within the SEN Sector.

This role is a full time class teaching role within Key Stage 2. The school is a primary SEN setting catering for pupils with complex special educational needs associated with a range of social, emotional and mental health difficulties. You will be teaching a class of around 6-8 pupils in Key Stage 2, however some pupils may be working at a much lower level. You will be responsible for all aspects of the class teaching role, including planning and marking, and you will be supported in class by teaching assistants. 

The successful candidate will have experience teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum, and will have proven experience or interest working with pupils with SEN and/or behaviour needs. Due to the pupils needs, they can display challenging behaviour so you must be confident with this and have strong behaviour management. 

You must have QTS in the UK and have experience teaching the UK curriculum. NQTs are welcomed to apply providing they have relevant SEN/Behaviour experience or a genuine desire to work in these settings.

This is a full time teaching role starting in September 2020. This will be a temporary role in the first instance, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The school is based in Bournemouth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
