Graduate Teaching Assistant required in Chorley
Are you a graduate considering a career in secondary teaching in the future? Would you like to gain the relevant and necessary experience to gain a position on a PCGE courese in the future?
If so, please see below the graduate teaching assistant opportunities within the Chorley area:
- Full and part time graduate teaching assistant positions available in secondary schools within Chorley
- Providing pupils with additional support in a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages and PE
- Help support pupils prepare for upcoming summer examinations by delivering small group tuition sessions
- Pay of up to GBP70 per day
- Start dates including 30th September and 5th October 2020
The school seek to appoint highly academic graduates (preferably who hold a degree in English, Maths, Science, Humanities or Languages – Not essential but desirable, all graduates considered) to support small groups of pupils with certain topic areas. *** All applicants are required to hold previous tuition experience/experience supporting pupils within secondary education ***
Within this role you will be required to work with a number of pupils who require additional support within their studies by delivering targeted intervention to pupils who aren’t achieving their target grades. Both experienced teaching assistants and graduates looking to build upon their previous school based experience prior to applying for their PGCE are encouraged to apply for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
