Music Teacher

ARE YOU A QUALIFIED MUSIC TEACHER WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD, LOOKING FOR A NEW CHALLENGE?

Salary:

£100 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging music lessons following the national curriculum
  • Teach music to secondary school students
  • Provide support and guidance to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Utilise effective behaviour management strategies in the classroom
  • Monitor and assess student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent, relevant teaching qualification)
  • BA in Music or Music Education
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN and SEMH

Experience:

Previous experience and proven track record teaching music within a secondary setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom presence
  • Effective behaviour management strategies
  • Passion for music and music education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Music Education
  • Experience coordinating school music events and performances

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
