Job description

We are recruiting a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our fantastic primary team in Burnley (BB10)

Start date: September 2024 

the post is initially being advertised as temporary one year contracts but there is the possibility of these becoming permanent positions if funding and pupil numbers are favourable.

If you are an effective, ambitious teacher who would like to experience working in a vibrant and rewarding setting, then we would encourage you to visit us in person. The school is a two form entry school, you will be working alongside the other Year group class teacher and you will have joint PPA time alongside your year group partner.

This position is a super opportunity for a suitable candidate to gain valuable experience working in a large, diverse school setting as part of an effective teaching team.

  • be able to readily adapt to the ever changing demands of a school day in a flexible and cheerful manner

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
