Primary Teacher

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS7

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £125 - £185 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons to primary school children
  • Assess and record pupils' progress and provide feedback to parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience
  • Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working as a Primary Teacher
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the primary school curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of the children 
  • Proficient in using educational technology in the classroom

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) pupils

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the potential for extension
  • Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Dynamic and fast-paced school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
