KS1 Teacher

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS10

Job Type:

Temporary, Full-Time hours

£130 - £195 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 1 children 
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress to ensure learning objectives are met
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
  • Participate in school events and meetings as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 children

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar and standard school hours. Some additional hours may be required for meetings or events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
