KS1 Teacher

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £125 - £185 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Proficient in using technology in the classroom

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting with regular classroom hours
  • Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
  • Potential for additional responsibilities such as extracurricular activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
