LKS2 Teacher

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS6

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) children
  • Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stage 2
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Specialist training in specific areas such as SEN or EAL

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting with classroom and outdoor activities
  • Full-time hours during term time
  • Collaborative work with other teaching staff and school leadership

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
