Full-time Teaching Assistant required immediately for a large Secondary school based in Bolton.

This is an exciting opportunity that has arisen due to additional pupils requiring further support in lessons this academic year. The school now wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and forward thinking Teaching Assistant in order to provide support to identified individuals within their lessons.

What will this role involve?

As a Teaching Assistant working within our client Secondary school, you will play a key part in ensuring that lessons operate smoothly and all students receive the best level of education possible. You will be responsible for assisting in the control of behaviour in class, identifying when low level disruption may occur and making sure that situations are quickly managed so that the teacher can continue with the teaching of their lesson. You will be tasked with working alongside students on a 1:1 basis providing support where needed and ensuring that that all students fully understood the work that is being set by the teacher.

The school is in an ideal location if commuting, just one mile away from the train station and a short drive from the M60 making it easily commutable from surrounding areas.
