Experienced Classroom teaching assistant Fleet - April

Teaching Personnel are recruiting alongside a successful secondary school in the Fleet area who are looking to provide support within the classroom for students who suffer with minor learning disabilities and emotional and behavioural difficulties.

We are ideally looking for candidates with experience working within the education environment and with student of this age group. Experience working with SEN student is not necessary for application however will prove useful if successful in the role.

Relevant experience can include:

• Youth work
• Summer camps
• Volunteering
• Nannying
• Sports Coaching

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to gain experience in schools to add to their portfolio prior to seeking QTS on a PGCE or SCITT programme. We have a high success rate of teaching assistants going onto train to teach within the school they are placed with as well as utilising relationships in other schools to aid you with teacher training!

The school are looking for teaching assistants who are able to join them on a full time basis providing support on a flexible basis with one or multiple students dependant on the suitability, matching you with the students you will benefit most during your employment.

This role will begin on a temporary to permanent basis, based on the success of your time at the school with the pupils and how well they assimilate into school life. The role will pay between £56 and £65 dependant on the experience and qualifications of the teaching assistant!
