Our client Secondary School located in Alnwick is currently seeking a Teacher of English to be available from January 2018.
* Working within a supportive department, modern Secondary School.
* Prospect of a permanent contract from September 2018.
* Located in Alnwick, just off the A1 route.
This is an average sized mixed 11-16 academy with around 1000 students currently on roll, the school is based on a large site offering state of the art facilities and excellent provisions for all staff and students.
The successful teacher of English will plan and assess lessons to students across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, in line with the curriculum and progress levels in the class. Additionally they will be responsible for upholding the high standards set by the faculty by developing differentiated lessons to challenge and motivate all students in order for them to reach their maximum potential.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
