Job description

Are you seeking further experience in the education sector? Are you a recent graduate looking for immediate work? Perhaps you are looking to gain experience in a school setting to kickstart your educational career?

Teaching Personnel are working with several client schools based in Wigan who are looking for motivated Cover Supervisors to join their team.

Location: Wigan

Salary: 85 - 95 pounds per day

Job Duties:

  • Supervising and managing students in the absence of regular teachers.
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans across various subjects.
  • Maintaining classroom discipline and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an educational setting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Good understanding of educational practises and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
