Job description

Are you a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher looking for your next career move? Are you looking for cover work and have a background in Humanities subjects? Look no further! Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary schools located in Wigan who are seeking talented individuals like you to join their esteemed teams and make a lasting impact on students' language and literacy skills.

Responsibilities:

Support with delivering lessons and managing student behaviour.

Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Help students with special educational needs or those requiring additional support.

Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor student progress and address concerns.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of the Humanities curriculum and teaching methodologies.

Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for fostering a love of literature and language among students.
