ICT and Computer Science Teacher

  • Located near to the M602 motorway in Eccles, accessible via public transportation links
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point, (£22,467 - £38,250 per annum)
  • Full time ICT & Computer Science teaching position

A small Secondary school located in the Eccles region of Salford have an opening within their ICT department for a full time teacher of ICT & Computer Science for the remainder of this academic year. This position is initially being offered throughout the summer term, with the opportunity of a permanent position from September 2017.

The school have recently changed to the new curriculum within ICT and Computer Science; it is desirable if the successful teacher has experience of delivering this.

Our client school currently has just under 800 pupils on roll, meaning it is smaller than the national average. They pride themselves on consistently achieving high grades across the curriculum subjects and receiving ‘Good’ gradings from recent Ofsted inspections.

The school is situated in Eccles, Salford, and public transportation links from Manchester, Wigan and Trafford provide direct routes to the school. The M602 Motorway also runs parallel with the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
