Behaviour Support Assistant - September 2019

Job description

A Special School situated in Oldham are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Behaviour Support Assistant for a September 2019 start.

The successful candidate will be working directly with pupils with complex additional educational needs, across all key stages. Due to the nature of the needs of the young people it would be ideal for candidates to have either professional or personal experience of dealing effectively with challenging behaviour.

Ideally applicants will have:

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade A* - C or an equivalent qualification
  • A qualification in Youth Work or similar
  • Extensive experience working with young people with SEMH needs

The Setting itself is a new build special school which is located close to the centre of Oldham town centre. The School are looking to met potential Teaching Assistants as soon as possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
