Do you have experience working with children with Autism?

Are you looking for a wonderful new school?

A brilliant school located near Warwick Avenue tube station, are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join there dedicated team!

The role will be focused on the 1:1 support of a young child with Autism. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience working within schools with children with Autism or other Special Educational Needs. Candidates should also have a passion for working with children who have Special Educational Needs and the ability to build a relationship and gain trust quickly and effectively. Candidates will be expected to aid the child academically as well as emotionally and socially.

The school is a 1 form entry school which is dedicated to their Christian values. The children are involved in daily worship led by different members of staff and clergy from their local church.

They have a strong ethos of: "Invite, Include, Imagine, Inspire". Staff and children together hold this ethos throughout their time at the school and after they have moved on.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
