Teaching Personnel are currently seeking teaching assistants for a number of support roles and work in Oxfordshire and the surrounding area. If you are a qualified teaching assistant or have a passion for education and children and are looking for a new career, then please get in touch.
Typical responsibilities include working with small groups of children or 1:1 support with literacy, reading and writing skills as well as generally assisting the class teacher with the day-to-day running and management of the classroom.
Experience working with vulnerable or looked after children or children with social and emotional mental health challenges would be preferred to support in some of our schools in more deprived areas in Oxford.
We are particularly keen to hear from graduates with backgrounds in English, Maths and Science. We can give you the opportunity to gain experience and find a role in a school before jobs are advertised. This also gives you the opportunity to work in a variety of different schools throughout the area.
