Behaviour Support Assistant

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds, LS10 

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

£85 - £100 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to children with challenging behaviour
  • Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment
  • Help pupils develop social skills and emotional regulation
  • Record and report on student behaviour and progress

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Education:

Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting

Experience:

Demonstrated experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of behaviour management techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
  • Excellent record-keeping and reporting abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in behaviour management or special education

Working Conditions:

  • Work within a school setting
  • May require some flexibility in working hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
