Job Role: Trainee Teaching Assistant

Location: Wakefield

Contract: Full-time (Mon-Fri 8:30am-15:30pm)

An 'outstanding' School in Wakefield (WF1) are looking for Trainee Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs including Autism and profound, multiple learning difficulties. The successful candidate will have prior experience supporting children in a childcare setting and have some knowledge of SEND.

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
• Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
• Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
• Minimum of three months UK residency
• We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
• Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
