Computer Science teacher required immediately for a Secondary School in the centre of Wigan.

The Deputy Headteacher at this small mixed comprehensive Secondary school has highlighted that they would like to meet with interested Computer Science Teachers immediately and is offering employment to the successful candidate as early as after the Easter break.

-          Full-time Computer Science Teaching position

-          Teaching pupils aged 11-16 at both KS3 and GCSE level

-          Paid in line with MPS/UPS dependent on experience (£30,00- 46,525)

-          Progression opportunities available for the successful Computer Science teacher

-          Opportunity to work within a rapidly improving school

The school are seeking to appoint a Computer Science teacher to fill an open gap within the ICT teaching faculty, the school are offering employment for the remainder of the academic year with the potential for the post to be extended to a permanent contract if successful over this initial temporary period.

To be successful in your application for this Computer Science Teaching position you must;

-          Be able to deliver Computer Science lessons in a confident and engaging manner.

-          Have a track record of achieving excellent results at GCSE level

-          Be willing to go the extra mile for your pupils

-          Have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills

The school is located on the outskirts of Leigh town centre making it accessible for those on public transport also. It is easily accessible from both the surrounding areas of Bolton and Wigan respectively via the A579.
