Job description

Are you a passionate Computer Science educator eager to inspire young minds? Our client school in Wigan are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join their dynamic team immediately.

Position: Full-time Computer Science Teacher

Age Group: Teaching pupils aged 11-16 at both KS3 and GCSE level

Salary: Competitive MPS/UPS (£30,000 - £46,525)

Contract: Temporary, with potential for permanent extension

Start Date: September 2024

To be successful in your application for this Computer Science Teaching position you must;

-          Be able to deliver Computer Science lessons in a confident and engaging manner.

-          Have a track record of achieving excellent results at GCSE level

-          Be willing to go the extra mile for your pupils

-          Have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills

Location and Accessibility:

This is an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school. The school fosters an inclusive environment for staff and students. Pupils behave well and you should have strong classroom management skills to uphold this standard.

This school is located in Shevington. This is easily commutable from areas such as Standish, Wrightington and Orell.
