Year 4/5 teacher - Ramsbottom, Bury (BL0) primary school

Due to a maternity leave in the Key Stage 2 department, a school in the Ramsbottom, Bury (BL0) area is currently looking for a teacher for a mixed year 4/5 class starting after half term on the 25th February 2019 and will carry on until the end of the academic year.

The Head teacher is looking for a NQT or FQT with previous experience in Key Stage 2 to join the staffing team and continue the school's excellent provision. The school can offer the successful candidate a Level 3 teaching assistant to support the pupils in the classroom and lead interventions and also PPA cover for lesson planning and marking. In return, the Head expects the teacher to fully immerse themselves in the whole school life, marking and evaluating pupil's progress, helping in extra curricular activities and parents evening.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a NQT or FQT
  • Have experience working with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to high expectations of behaviour
  • Be passionate about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context

The Bury primary school has recently been graded GOOD by Ofsted and is a small and friendly school with good transport links to the school. The primary school is proud to be at the heart of the local community which shares the schools warm and inclusive ethos.
