Are you an experienced Team Teach trained Teaching Assistant?
Do you have experience working on a one to one basis with pupils in Key Stage One?
Are you confident in supporting pupils with special educational needs?

Teaching Personnel are currently supporting a primary school in the north of York, who requires a Teaching Assistant to work on a one to one basis with a pupil in Year 5. The role is to commence as soon as possible and is full time.

The ideal candidate will be Team Teach trained and have knowledge of de-escalation techniques. You will have had past experience working with SEMH pupils and possess the ability to support the pupil academically, socially and emotionally. Your main aim will be to help build confidence and self-esteem.

The is role will involve you supporting the pupil during classroom hours, as well as providing additional one to one sessions at designated times throughout the week. You will be required to track and monitor progress and communicate with the schools SENDCO.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
