Easter Start - April 29th - Teaching Assistant Role

The headteacher of a large secondary school are seeking to recruit sport coaches to work as a teaching assistant to work in unit attached to the school. This role is starting after the half term Monday 29th April!

The unit caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) as well as other difficulties including ADHD and Autism. This unit is looking for enthusiastic team players who enjoy a challenge. Having experience in a coaching or volunteering role will help.

So, for those applicants who have yet to work in education, this unique opportunity presents a chance to develop skills specific to teaching those with special educational needs. We have an established relationship with this school and have found sport coaches to work well with the pupils.

The school has a real focus on providing discipline, structure and an alternative approach to education whilst supporting the young people through their GCSE's.
