A "Good" primary school situated in Newham a 10 minute walk from East Ham station are looking for 10 Teaching Assistants to start in January 2019 on a permanent basis to assist in the Teaching and Learning of their children. Your duties will include supporting and over coming barriers to the children's learning and assisting those who are underachieving. These may include Special Educational Needs, EAL, SEMH and medical conditions. The nature of the work will comprise of in-class support, small intervention groups and one to one support.
Teaching Personnel's partner school is a mixed 5 form entry mainstream community primary school that is set to expand over the next 3 years. Each student at the school is treated as an individual and Teaching Assistants work closely with school staff to ensure standards are kept high and pupils achieve the highest possible outcomes.
The school is looking to employ graduates and qualified Teaching Assistants who will be able to support students over the whole primary curriculum. Teaching Assistants with an EAL or SEN background will be looked on favourably.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hard working Teaching Assistant to make a real difference to the lives of children.
