We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Subject Lead to drive the strategic direction and development of our Business Department. The successful educator will be responsible for leading a team of passionate educators, designing a rigorous and relevant curriculum, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the department. Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of business educators, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a positive working environment.
- Design and implement a dynamic and engaging curriculum that integrates real-world applications, critical thinking skills, and ethical decision-making.
- Monitor and assess student progress and outcomes, implementing data-driven strategies to support student achievement and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities and enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Cultivate partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and industry leaders to provide students with authentic learning experiences and opportunities for career exploration.
- Stay informed of current trends, developments, and best practices in business education, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics and Qualified Teacher Status
- Proven experience teaching business courses at the secondary level, with a track record of student achievement and engagement.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying current with developments in the field of business education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
