Teaching Assistant

Would you like to work with children and help them develop their learning and social skills? If so, Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for individuals who wish to secure a full-time Teaching Assistant role from September 2019.

  • Teaching Assistants required for a large secondary school located in Horwich.
  • Full-time positions available with start dates of September 2019
  • Competitive pay with earning potential of up to £1250 per month.
  • Must hold or be willing to apply for a DBS that is registered to the update service.

The Deputy Headteacher of this large mixed secondary school, located in Horwich wish to appoint a number of Teaching Assistants ahead of the new academic year. Successful applicants will be joining a school that holds an excellent reputation with its local community and has an experienced pastoral team.

All applicants are encouraged to apply prior to the 14th of June for considering and must be available to join the school on a full-time basis from September 2019.

It has been highlighted by the school that they wish to appoint dedicated individuals who are able to provide tailored classroom support to their pupils. Teaching Assistants applying for this role will be committed to the learning and needs of the young learners within the school, ensuring that there is an 'Outstanding' learning environment where students can thrive.

Located in Bolton, close to Horwich, the school is easily accessible via the M61 motorway. The school was judged as a Good school across all areas in its most recent Ofsted support and boasts results well above the national average. There is also free parking available to staff; alternatively the public transport links are very accessible to the surrounding areas, Wigan, Chorley, Preston, Bury and Salford.
