Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant to support an alternative provision in the NG17 area of Nottinghamshire.
The provision supports students between the ages of 11 to 18 years of age who present with SEMH. The pupils may be on roll full time or part time at the provision, assessing academic and/or vocational sessions. The subjects on offer for the students are English, Maths, Science, Art, Mechanics, Hair and beauty and Construction.
The provision are looking for a Teaching Assistant that can support on an add hoc basis when they require additional support (general and one to one).
Ideal qualities for the candidate:
- Primary or Secondary trained
- Experience supporting SEN students, in particular SEMH
- Teaching Assistant Level 3
- Qualifications in youth work
- Experience as a learning mentor ideally
