Job description

SEN & SEMH Teachers – Surrey

Are you a passionate and resilient teacher with a drive to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We’re recruiting SEN/SEMH Teachers for a range of specialist schools and provisions across Surrey, working with pupils in both primary and secondary settings. Roles are available for daily supply, long-term placements, and permanent positions.

About the role:

  • Deliver engaging, individualised lessons to meet diverse needs

  • Support students with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD, and behavioural challenges

  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment

  • Collaborate with support staff and multi-disciplinary teams

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) – ECTs welcome

  • Experience or interest in SEN/SEMH education

  • Strong classroom management and a nurturing approach

  • Flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
