Join Our Team – Teaching Assistants Required for Secondary SEMH School in Bournemouth


Opportunities from September | Full-time, Part-time & Ad-hoc Roles Available

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a dedicated SEMH secondary school in Bournemouth, supporting pupils aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex learning difficulties. All students at the school have EHCPs and require a nurturing, structured environment to thrive.

We are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to join the school from September in a variety of roles, including:

  • 1:1 support positions

  • General classroom support

  • Flexible day-to-day/ad-hoc work

What we’re looking for:

  • Individuals with experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or additional needs

  • Confident, resilient and compassionate professionals

  • A background in education, youth work, or care (beneficial but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
