SEN Classroom Assistant – Full Time | Start September 2025

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a committed Classroom Assistant to support SEN students starting in September 2025.

Your Role Will Involve:

Supporting students aged 11–16 with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD and speech & language difficulties

Providing 1:1 and small group learning support
-
Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom routines
-
Helping to create a calm, structured, and safe learning environment
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care or community settings)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
