SEN Classroom Assistant – Full Time | Start September 2025

A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking a committed Classroom Assistant to support SEN students starting in September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team, working in a school that values compassion, inclusion, and personalised learning for every student.

Your Role Will Involve:

• Supporting students aged 11–16 with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD and speech & language difficulties

• Providing 1:1 and small group learning support

• Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom routines

• Helping to create a calm, structured, and safe learning environment

• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care or community settings)

• A patient, positive, and nurturing approach

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A commitment to inclusion and safeguarding

• Reliability and enthusiasm for supporting education
