Supply teacher / Supply cover supervisor bookings – Derby – Secondary schools and academies

Rates - CS: GBP65-GBP75, Teacher: GBP100-GBP140 per day

Teaching Personnel are looking for outstanding supply teachers to work in schools across the Derby area.

Acting as a work-finding service, we provide supply cover to a range secondary schools and academies; from small schools to large MAT secondary schools. We are looking for teachers to cover all general classes for KS3 and KS4 and who have strong behaviour management skills and are passionate about teaching.

Teaching Personnel work with cover supervisors, newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers by helping you find your next position. Some contracts may be extend from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover (pay rates negotiable based on teacher pay scale)

Supply teacher details:

  • Location - Various secondary schools within the Derby and Derbyshire areas
  • Position - supply teacher / supply cover supervisors
  • Type of work - supply teacher - day to day and long term cover in various schools
  • Start date - After Easter - Monday 19th April
  • End date (if applicable) - N/A
  • Contract type - temporary
  • Full time/part time - part time and full time depending on schools needs / educators availability
  • Rate of 8.30am - 3.30pm

Training and qualifications:

  • QTS /degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school is ideal but not essential
  • Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Teaching Personnel provide free, accredited training)

To be eligible you must:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
