As a Senior Support Worker, you will motivate, guide and lead by example. Your role involves supporting young people both in education settings and during off-site activities, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and personal development at all times.
Key Responsibilities

Provide emotional and physical support to young people

Assist with daily routines and personal care where needed
-
Act as a mentor to Support Workers, offering guidance and modelling best practice
-
Maintain a safe, positive and structured environment
-
Support with record-keeping, health monitoring and care plan updates
-
Promote independence, communication and life skills
-
Engage young people in meaningful, personalised activities
-
Uphold safeguarding standards at all times
Essential Requirements
-
Minimum 6 months’ SEN/childcare experience
-
Experience supporting autistic young people or those with additional learning needs
-
Full UK driving licence (rural setting)
-
Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
-
Strong communication, teamwork and leadership qualities
-
Calm, professional and resilient approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
