Sports Coach
Location: Rossendale
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:50am – 3:30pm
Pay: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a committed and resilient Sports Coach to work within a specialist SEN school in Rossendale, supporting Key Stage 4 students with additional needs.
This role involves working closely with students who may present with challenging behaviour, using sport and physical activity to promote engagement, emotional regulation and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver and support sports and physical activity sessions

Support students with social, emotional and behavioural needs

Build positive, professional relationships with students

Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Use sport as a tool to encourage teamwork, confidence and self-regulation
Working in an SEN Setting
Working in a specialist SEN school is both rewarding and demanding. Students require consistency, patience and understanding. Progress may be gradual, but the impact you make on students’ confidence, behaviour and wellbeing can be significant.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
