Job description

We are looking to recruit full-time  teaching assistants to support a secondary school in Northampton.  

The roles on offer will vary from working 5 days a week, with working hours being 8:30 – 15:30.

We have the option to start ASAP, or we are also recruiting now for roles starting in SEPTEMBER!

Whilst experience is desirable, it’s not essential.

Typical TA Duties can include:

  • Working with students who need additional support either on 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Motivating and inspiring students to learn and participate in classroom activities.
  • Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
  • Support the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management.
  • Prepare lesson resources.
  • Help to keep the classroom clean and tidy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
