SEN Teaching Assistant – Swinton (M27)

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a SEN Teaching Assistant at a prestigious SEN primary school in Swinton (M27). Serving pupils aged 4 to 11, all of whom have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP), with some facing complex needs.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting pupils throughout Key Stage 2. This school’s innovative approach focuses on personalised learning, tailoring support to meet the unique needs of each individual, transcending specific age groups. This requires a flexible and adaptable approach, nurturing an inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, academic and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is essential.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
  • Availability to commence as soon as possible (with consideration for a given notice period) after registration and vetting from Teaching Personnel.
  • References covering the last 24 months of employment history (from professional email addresses).
  • PECS and Team Teach Training preferred.
