History Teacher - East Riding of Yorkshire

  • Pay rate of £120 - £150 per day
  • East Riding School on modern newly built site
  • Initially a temporary position until July 2017.

Due to an unexpected absence, our client school have an urgent need for a History teacher to join them in the autumn term on a full time basis teaching History across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Our client school is a large, modern secondary based in a semi rural setting in the East Riding of Yorkshire which boasts excellent facilities in the newly built site. Last year, the school achieved their best ever GCSE results, which was roughly in line with the national average and SLT in school are keen to build on this success and continually improve over coming years.

- Earn £120 to £150 per day on supply initially

- Teaching History at Key Stage 3 & GCSE

- Full time History teacher post, 1 term initially

The incoming History teacher will be expected to contribute with departmental responsibilities including planning and marking schemes of work, along with supporting assessment and tracking progress. The school have no preference for levels of experience, and those who are newly qualified will also be welcomed to apply.
