Geography Teacher
Join a vibrant secondary academy in South Manchester seeking to appoint a teacher of Geography from September 2020.
This role is suitable for any confident NQT’s or experienced teachers looking to secure a long term position.
The successful Geography teacher will join a supportive Humanities department and will contribute towards the development of the curriculum at key stage 3 and key stage 4. They will deliver lessons to mixed ability groups across the age range, including GCSE students. We are looking for a passionate teacher who has excellent classroom management and suitable experience in planning, preparing and delivering lessons across mixed ability groups.
This large secondary academy has been on an excellent journey in recent years and has been locally and nationally recognised for its significant improvements. In a recent Ofsted report, the academy was judged to be ‘Good’ with a strong and determined leadership team. Due to recent investments, the school now has excellent state of the art facilities including modern well resourced classrooms.
For those on public transport, the academy is easily accessible via public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas. For those who drive, the academy is located a 20 minute drive from the city centre.
