Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fully Qualified Teacher of Geography to join the Geography department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons to students across key stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for the subject and promoting critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons that inspire and motivate students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Geography curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Applications welcomed from ECT’s.
• Degree in Geography or a related field.
• Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level, preferably in a UK school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

• Contract Type: Temp to Permanent
• Salary: In line with pay scale based on experience and qualifications
• Start Date: September 2024
