About Us: Our network of secondary schools in Pendle is committed to providing high-quality education and support to our students. As a cover supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning and supporting the school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities across a range of subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning.
  • Provide support to students who may require assistance with their work.
  • Communicate effectively with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition for students.

Requirements:

  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel between school locations.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
