General cover SEN Teacher - Tameside

Job description

A Secondary Special School situated in Tameside are currently seeking Teachers who can work on a casual basis covering lessons. These roles will involve working as and when required so they will suit Teachers who are able to be flexible.

This particular Setting is based in Tameside and caters for Secondary aged pupils with a variety of needs including those with: PMLD, MLD, ASC and significant interaction or communication difficulties. The ideal Teacher will have a passion for supporting pupils with SEN and experience working directly with pupils or adults with SEN is desirable.

To be considered for the ideal Teacher will have:

- Qualified Teacher Status or Newly Qualified Teacher Status

- A strong passion for supporting pupils with SEN

- A commitment to assuring that all pupils regardless of the needs can reach their potential

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
