About the School

This well known school is based in Finchley has received a 'Good' Ofsted report and has recently moved into a brand new building due to the school expanding. Currently know for excellent student engagement, with a wide range of extra curricular activities available to pupils the school also offers continuous career development for its staff with subsidised CPD courses. The school ethos adheres to strong moral values and an obligation to support their local communities. The SLT has a strong focus on maintaining the link between the school and the home offering support to each and every pupil. Additionally, a wide range of extra curricular activities are encouraged such as: yoga, film club and athletics.

About the Role

The school are currently looking for two classroom teachers who are comfortable teaching EYFS and Reception. The school are very flexible and are happy to offer a part-time or full-time contract for the successful candidate who will be available for a January start. The role will include: teaching and planning lessons, assessing work completed by students and managing school conduct, to name but a few. Each class room teacher has the support of their very own classroom TA who will be there to support low ability pupils. By actively accessing the needs of the class, you will be able to deliver lessons that are engaging and informative. Additionally you will be responsible for proving a safe environment where students look forward to coming to school and have and instilled desire to learn when they progress throughout the school

What we are looking for?

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Currently completing PGCE
  • Passionate about Teaching
  • Possess a Valid DBS certificate
  • Interested in teaching EYFS or KS1
  • Experience working with SEN pupils (desired but not essential)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
